Andover is a town in the England county of Hampshire. The town is situated on the River Anton some 18.5 miles (30 km) west of the town of Basingstoke, 18.5 miles (30 km) north-west of the city of Winchester and 25 miles (40 km) north of the city of Southampton. Andover is Twin towns and sister cities with the towns of Redon in France, and Goch in Germany. It has also been more recently twinned with Andover, Massachusetts.
 

Why visit?

  • Andover hosts a range of events throughout the year, including the Andover Carnival, the Andover Food Festival and the Andover Music Festival.
  • Andover is surrounded by beautiful countryside, with plenty of opportunities for walking, cycling and horse riding. The town is also close to the River Anton, which is a great spot for fishing and canoeing.
